What day is it today?
It was established in 1987 (Showa 62) by the Japan Civil Engineering Contractors Association and others with the support of the Ministry of Construction (now the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism).
The kanji for “civil engineering” can be broken down into the characters “juuichi” (11) and “juuhachi” (18), so November 18th is the date.
“Civil Engineering Day” Prompt
Anime style, digital blending mode, portrait of a nun carrying lumber for building a building. The nun wears a white wimple on her head, a short red leather skirt, a studded belt, a black and white zebra print tank top that reveals her navel, and a white leather jacket on top. Her heavy metal inspired outfit exudes youthful energy. The combination of modern impressionism and surreal details expresses the vibrancy and spontaneity of a building site.
By the way, it also happened to be “Yukimi Daifuku Day”, but it seems the image generation AI had not learned about Yukimi Daifuku, and it kept putting all sorts of things in its mouth, so it was scrapped.
It’s something you put in your mouth, and since it was “Caspian Sea Yogurt Day” I tried it, and “Midjourney” gave me a wild output, so I’ll post it here.
